Depression is one of the most common problems I treat in clinical practice. Even though drug therapy and psychotherapy is effective at alleviating symptoms much depression remains undiagnosed and inadequately treated. Sometimes patients refuse to take medications. There are times in my life when I felt totally one with everything around me and aware of the concept of one mind. I wrote the 8th song from my Possibilities DVD, “We’re Here”, after experiencing a strong connection with two of my closest friends. At the time I was sure that our soul lives on after our physical body dies. I just finished reading Dr. Larry Dossey’s book “One Mind” that beautifully summarizes that we are all connected even if we are not in the same physical space. I hope the photos and lyrics remind you of our ethereal nature and the oneness of all things. Guess where the photos are from? We are so lucky to live in Canada. There is so much turmoil and danger throughout many parts of the world and I am thankful every day for the safety and opportunities that we have in this great country of ours. Given my innate curiosity and functioning Internet, I googled the origin of Pronoic. Conservative resources such as the Oxford and Etymology Dictionaries were of no use. Bravely, I checked out some Pronoic websites. Here is what surfaced. Historically, as claimed by www.deoxy.org/meme/Pronoia, Pronoia was a nymph, the wife of Prometheus, and the goddess of foresight. The same site states that the Greek word pronoia means knowing things before you are told them.
