Bhutan has always been on my bucket list and I have wanted to visit this special place. The mystical Kingdom of Bhutan, is sandwiched in the Himalayas between China, Tibet and India. Our tour will take you to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan with its architecturally interesting monasteries and important Buddhist highlights and interspersed with bustling markets and museums specializing in textiles, folk heritage, and traditional Bhutanese arts and crafts. Then, we drive through the mountains to Punakha, the ancient winter capital located in a sub-tropical valley where rhododendron and magnolia bloom and orange and banana trees flourish. We conclude our stay in this captivating hidden kingdom in Paro, a resort town nestled among the Himalayas and the site of the 15C Paro Dzong Fortress, National Museum and the perfect base to access Tiger’s Nest, a breathtaking monastery clinging to a cliff that is one of the most important icons of Bhutan.

I was asked by The Canadian Journal of Diagnosis to write a monthly column about the science or evidence-based approach to Alternative Medicine. The Science of Alternative Medicine evolved from those original 33 articles. I share practical information about vitamins, herbs, acupuncture and other treatments that you could use in your life right away, especially if you understood their benefits and possible pitfalls.
"This brilliant book contains information and guidance that could change the course of many lives and give healers and patients options for healing of which they were unaware. I stand in deep gratitude for Dr. Borins sharing his wealth of knowledge with those who can benefit most."
